Amid speculations about US President Donald Trump’s health, a new video has emerged showing him struggling to drag his right leg behind him as he moves. The video shows the President with former baseball player Roger Clemens at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia on Saturday.
The video comes amid rumours about Trump’s swollen cankles, mounting concerns that the President could be facing a potential heart failure. The 79-year-old Trump, who was captured with bruising on both hands and swollen cankles in recent days.
In the video posted by Kacy titled “A Day On the Course With the President,” Trump is seen driving the golf car, hitting the links, and walking. A shot from the footage shows Trump walking alongside Roger. At one point, Trump was seen dragging his right leg behind him.
The video captured the attention of many, including influencer Ben Meiselas of Meidas Touch, who commented: “He’s dragging that right leg again, and he can’t walk in a straight line.” He also appeared to have a new bruise on his left hand.
Another user: “Donald is dragging his right leg during his golfing date with Roger Clemens. What is the White House hiding about the President’s health from the American people? Why is the media participating in this cover-up of the President’s health?“
The video has gone viral, and the White House rushed to provide an explanation for the bruise. “President Trump is a man of the people, and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history. His commitment is unwavering, and he proves that every single day,” according to spokesperson Karoline Levitt.
The meeting with the South Korean Premier happened days after the match. The White House released the pictures of the meeting, but was careful to hide the cankles. Trump’s feet remain obscured behind the Oval Office coffee table and the Air Force One model on top of it. It also shared another picture cutting off both leaders’ ankles in a bid to conceal Trump’s cankles.
