Tech billionaire Elon Musk responded to a post on X by Pershing Square CEO Bill Ackman later on Friday, saying, “You’re not wrong.” Ackman was calling for peace between Musk and Trump after the two had a public feud on social media.

In the post, Bill Ackman, who is a billionaire hedge fund manager and a supporter of Trump, said that they should make peace for the benefit of the country and said, “We are much stronger together than apart.”

Musk recently had a public falling out with Trump due to his disagreement with the tax reform legislation and his opposition to the “Big Beautiful Bill.”

Trump had said that Elon was supportive of the bill until Musk found out that they were going to cut the EV mandate. Elon refuted this by saying that he was never shown the bill and that it was passed in the dead of the night. The feud caused Tesla stocks to plunge on Thursday.

Musk had later made a post asking them to keep EV/Solar incentive cuts but to ditch the “mountain of disgusting pork in the bill.”

The back and forth has led to threats and exposures, with Trump saying that he would pull back the government contracts for Musk’s companies. Musk made a few posts after that, one suggesting that Trump would have won the election without him and another one saying that the President was on Jeffery Epstein’s files.

Meanwhile, rapper-songwriter Ye, formerly Kanye West, who is known for his controversial takes on social media, made a similar post saying, “Broooos please noooooo We love you both so much.”

Despite the reply to Ackman’s post and Ye trying to play peacemaker, the feud is not expected to end any time soon as the two continue to exchange blows. Musk has continued to show displeasure at the new bill and the Republican party’s recent moves on social media.
