After the Russia-US talks in Riyadh on Monday, the Kremlin on Tuesday said that Moscow will continue the "useful" talks with Washington over the Ukraine conflict.

The Kremlin also said that Russia and the US are analysing the outcome of the 12-hour talks held in Saudi Arabia.

Though Russia is tight-lipped on the matters of discussion held on Monday, Kremlin official said that no concrete plans have yet been made.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the outcome of the talks in Riyadh has been reported in the capitals and was currently being analysed by Moscow and Washington.

Peskov said that they are talking about "technical negotiations, negotiations with immersion in details."

The US held talks with the Russian delegates a day after its officials held separate talks in Riyadh with Ukraine delegates.

Earlier, the US proposed a temporary 30-day halt in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. However, Russia was not fully onboard with the US proposal though Ukraine welcomed it. Following the Trump-Putin call afterwards, the Russian president agreed to halt all its aerial strikes targeting the energy infrastructure of Kyiv.

In the meeting held with US officials on Monday, Kyiv planned to hand over the list of energy sites off-limits to Russia. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he would also like to see sites like railways and ports protected.

Meanwhile, Peskov ruled out any current plans for US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin to speak over the ceasefire talks.

Peskov also added that there are no plans to hold a three-way meeting between Russia, the US and Ukraine.

Senior Russian lawmaker Grigory Karasin, who was part of the talks on Monday, said that the conversation was very "interesting, difficult, but quite constructive."

Though Moscow's and Washington's positions don't always align, the two parties are looking forward to cooperate.
