With the ODI World Cup 2023 kicking off on October 5, all eyes are the the 10 teams hoping to clinch the coveted trophy by November.
With the past three editions won by host nations, fans are too hoping that the men in blue will bring home the trophy they previously claimed in 2011 while playing on Indian soil. The 2015 edition played in Australia and New Zealand was won by the Kangaroos while the 2019 cup was taken home by England while playing in London's iconic Lord's Cricket Ground.
Keeping the hopes high, many are coming up with predictions too. One among them is astrologer Anirudh Kumar Mishra who had predicted that India will win the 2011 World Cup. This time, too, Mishra came up with fresh predictions as he took to the X platform.
“Much before coming to Twitter, I predicted in 2011, about 1.5 months before the final of the Cricket World Cup that India would win the World Cup,” Mishra posted. “Now again, I am being flooded with requests of predicting the winner of the upcoming world cup. Although I have made it clear that I will not be making any predictions for this world cup, due to the sake of so heavy demand, I decided to make an exception and predict the winner of the World Cup.
“As per my calculations, India is going to win World Cup this time,” the astrologer claimed.
