New India Assurance Company Limited has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Assistant, with a total of 300 vacancies available.
Eligibility: Candidates must have a graduation degree in any subject and should have studied English as a subject at the Higher Secondary/Intermediate/Graduate level. Additionally, candidates must possess the ability to read, write, and speak the local language of the state they are applying to.
Age Limit: The age of the candidates should be between 21 and 30 years as of January 1, 2024. However, there are certain relaxations in the upper age limit for specific categories. Scheduled Caste candidates have a relaxation of five years, OBC candidates have a relaxation of three years, and differently-abled candidates have a relaxation of ten years. Ex-servicemen and New India Assurance Company employees are also eligible for age relaxation.
Salary: The selected candidates will be placed in the Class III cadre and will receive a salary ranging from ₹22,405 to ₹62,265.
The selection process consists of two stages of online tests and a regional language test. Candidates who qualify for the position will undergo a probation period of six months.
The application fee for the Assistant position is ₹850. However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste category and limited members have to pay ₹100 as the application fee. The fee must be paid online during the registration process. The last date to submit the application is February 15, 2024.
