Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Opposition alliance Mahagathbandhan on Sunday and said the Congress is determined to defeat the Rashtriya Janata Dal in every booth across Bihar during this assembly election.
Targeting the Opposition alliance during the poll campaign in Nawada, Modi said the Congress was not ready to accept RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as the chief minister face ahead of polls. "The Congress never wanted to announce the chief ministerial candidate in favour of the RJD. The RJD secured it by placing a 'katta' on the head of the Congress. They have learnt their lessons in the school of 'jungle raj'. Such elements can never do good for Bihar," Modi charged.
Signalling there is unrest within the Opposition alliance, Modi said the RJD wanted to field its own candidate against the Bihar Congress president in this election. "The news is that Congress is determined to defeat the RJD at every booth. You will see what Congress and RJD do to each other as soon as the second phase of voting ends on November 11," ANI reported, quoting Modi.
Highlighting India's successful military operation Operation Sindoor against Pakistan, Modi said, "When terror hideouts in Pakistan were being bombed, the royal family of Congress was losing sleep. Pakistan and the Congress have still not recovered from the shock of Operation Sindoor."

Saying both RJD and Congress disrespected Hindu practices, the prime minister charged that the Congress 'naamdaar' (Rahul Gandhi) made fun of Chhath Puja. These people must be taught a lesson, he said.
