The chief minister said she and other ministers will perform an arti at a Yamuna Ghat in the evening and later the first meeting of the new cabinet will be held at 7 pm.
Gupta, a first-time MLA from Shalimar Bagh, was sworn in as the chief minister along with six ministers at a grand event at the sprawling Ramlila Maidan.
Those who took oath as ministers included Parvesh Verma, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Kapil Mishra, Pankaj Singh, Ashish Sood and Ravinder Indraj.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the top BJP brass and NDA leaders.
Soon after the swearing-in, Modi in a post on X expressed confidence that Gupta will work for the city's development with full vigour.
"She has risen from the grassroots, being active in campus politics, state organisation, municipal administration and now MLA as well as Chief Minister," he said.
The BJP returned to power in the national capital after a gap of 27 years in the February 5 assembly elections. The saffron party bagged 48 out of the 70 seats, restricting the AAP, which ruled the capital city for two consecutive terms, to 22 seats.
Gupta was picked as the chief minister at a BJP legislature party meeting held on Wednesday evening.
