The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took a swipe at the BJP over the delay in naming the chief minister of Delhi even ten days after the assembly elections.
Senior AAP leader and former Delhi minister Gopal Rai made a sarcastic prediction, saying that the national capital could again witness three different chief ministers in the next five years.
"Even after 10 days, they are not able to choose a CM, which shows they do not have a face. The reality is that history could repeat itself and we may see three chief ministers in the next five years just as it happened during the last BJP government in Delhi," he was quoted as saying by PTI.

Rai was referring to the saffron party's previous term from 1993 to 1998 during which Delhi witnessed three BJP chief ministers—Madan Lal Khurana, Sahib Singh Verma and Sushma Swaraj.
Rai alleged that the delay in naming the chief minister shows that many power groups are working in the BJP. "No matter who is chosen, the other groups will try to disrupt their leadership and history will repeat itself".
The AAP leader asserted that his party would act as a strong opposition.
"The BJP used all its tactics during the campaign in collusion with the Election Commission. Despite all their power, the people of Delhi stood with us and we are thankful for that. In terms of seats, there is a difference, but we have decided that AAP will stand with people and raise their voices against the BJP," he said.
Senior AAP leader and Delhi's acting Chief Minister Atishi accused the BJP of lacking a credible leader to govern the national capital.
"It's been ten days since the election results were announced. People thought that the BJP would declare its chief minister and the cabinet on February 9 and begin developmental works immediately. But it is now clear that they have no face to run Delhi," she said.
