Soon after the polling for the assembly elections in Delhi came to an end on Wednesday evening, most of the exit polls predicted a BJP government in the national capital, sparking speculations on who would be the chief minister face of the saffron party.
Though the party remains tight-lipped on its CM face, local media reports have dropped hints at a few possible names including BJP national secretary and former MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa, former AAP Minister who joined BJP recently Kailash Gehlot and BJP's Rohini MLA Vijender Gupta.
Sirsa is credited with ending the Congress' domination in Rajouri Garden in 2013, is contesting from the same seat and is confident of emerging victorious for the third time.
Sirsa joined the BJP in December 2019 after quitting the SAD.
He won the seat in 2013 and 2017. In the current elections, he is facing the ruling AAP's sitting MLA Dhanwanti Chandela. Congress’s Dharampal Chandela is the third candidate in the seat.
Sirsa has cited drinking water, dirty roads and garbage as the major issues in the constituency. He wants the seat to be included in the central government's Smart City project.

"After winning, my focus will be to ensure the supply of potable water to people living in the constituency and make its roads better and cleaner," the two-time MLA recently told news agency PTI.
Sirsa, along with Chandela, has figured in the list of the five wealthiest candidates in Delhi with his assets pegged at Rs 248.85 crore.
Sirsa made his debut in electoral politics in 2007 by contesting the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) election as a SAD candidate.
He has also served as the president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.
The BJP, which could pocket only eight seats in the 70-member House in the last assembly polls, is hoping for a strong comeback this time.
