President Draupadi Murmu, Union ministers S Jaishankar, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri were among the early voters for the Delhi Assembly polls elections on Wednesday.
Jaishankar who was accompanied by his wife Kyoko cast their vote at a polling booth set up at NDMC School of Science and Humanities, Tughlaq Crescent. "I have been an early voter...I think the public is in a mood for change," he told reporters.

President Droupadi Murmu votedat Dr. Rajendra Prasad Kendriya Vidyalaya, President’s Estate while Congress MP Rahul Gandhi cast his vote at Nirmal Bhavan.

Chief Minister Atishi cast her vote at a booth in Kaljaji. "This election in Delhi is not just an election, this is a Dharmyuddh'. This is a fight between the good and bad. On one side, there are educated people who are working for development and on the other side, there are people who are doing hooliganism. I am confident that the people will vote for the ones who work and not for the goons," Atishi told reporters.

Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Vinai Kumar Saxena, his wife Sangita Saxena too cast their votes on Wednesday at St Xavier's School, Raj Niwas Marg.
Delhi former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora and Delhi Chief Electoral Officer R Alice Vaz, AAP's Greater Kailash candidate Saurabh Bharadwaj, BJP's Karawal Nagar candidate Kapil Mishra, Congress' New Delhi candidate Sandeep Dikshit and Kalkaji candidate Alka Lamba also voted soon after the voting began at 7 am.
