Arvind Kejriwal kicked off the new year day with a fresh controversy, asking RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat whether he supports BJP's "wrongdoings".
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener accused BJP of voter deletions and cash distribution in the letter to the RSS chief as the Delhi assembly polls near. He was referring to the alleged "large scale" deletion of votes of the poor, Dalits, people from Purvanchal and slum dwellers.

"Does the RSS think that doing this is right for Indian democracy? Don't you think that the BJP is weakening Indian democracy in this way?" Kejriwal asked.
The BJP was quick to clap back at Kejriwal, advising him to stop lying in the new year and take false promises in the name of his children, women and senior citizens.
The saffron party said the AAP supremo should take a pledge not to take donations from anti-national forces or make false promises to the people of Delhi, said BJP Delhi chief Virendra Sachdeva. He also urged Kejriwal to end his corruption, stop promoting alcohol in Delhi and sought apology for the state of River Yamuna.

The BJP also accused Kejriwal and AAP of sheltering illegal residents from Bangladesh and Myanmar in Delhi to use them as vote bank. The assembly elections to 70 seats in Delhi are expected to be held in February.
On Sunday, Kejriwal said the people of Delhi won't allow BJP to win by using the tactics they used in Maharashtra and Haryana. He alleged that in 15 days BJP forwarded applications to delete names of 5,000 people and add 7,500 names in the voters' list.
Warning the officials, Kejriwal said them against giving in to pressures to commit wrong acts. "You will sign the papers and these signatures will stay. Today or tomorrow, the government will change, but the files and signatures will stay," he added.
