Calling the Enforcement Directorate’s raids in Rajasthan as BJP’s political vendetta, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge charged that as soon as elections come, central agencies become the real 'Panna Pramukh' of BJP.

Kharge posted on X, “As soon as elections come, ED, CBI, IT etc. become the real 'Panna Pramukh' of BJP. Seeing its certain defeat in Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party made its last move!” The Congress leader said Congress will continue to fight against the misuse of central agencies and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “dictatorship” is fatal to democracy.

“After Chhattisgarh, ED has also started action against Congress leaders entering the assembly election campaign in Rajasthan. The dictatorship of the Modi government is fatal for democracy,” he said. “We will continue to fight against the misuse of agencies, the public will give a befitting reply to the BJP,” Kharge tweeted.

The Enforcement Directorate is conducting searches at around a dozen places in Rajasthan, including the residences of State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra and a few other Congress leaders in the exam paper leak case. The agency conducted similar raids last week in connection with the case and seized Rs 12 lakh in cash and several incriminating documents.

The agency has also summoned Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot to the agency’s office in Jaipur or New Delhi on Friday in connection with the FEMA case. Ashok Gehlot charged BJP doesn’t want people in the state to enjoy the benefits of Congress guarantees, hence the raids.
