The commercial LPG gas prices was reduced by Rs 100 per cylinder on Tuesday. The prices of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder have now become Rs 99.75.
Meanwhile, the prices of the domestic LPG cylinders remains unchanged.
Depending on the taxes the prices are likely to vary from state to state.
According to sources, the retail sales price of a commercial LPG gas cylinder will be Rs 1,680 in Delhi. While in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai it will be Rs 1,802, Rs 1,640, and Rs 1,852 respectively.
It is the variation in the crude oil prices in the international market that has affected the prices of the LPG cyclinders in domestic market.
Since March 1 this year, the prices for 14.2 kg LPG domestic cooking gas cylinders has not been revised.
The prices for the non-subsidised domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi is Rs 1,103. While it is at Rs 1,129, Rs 1,102 and Rs 1,118.50 in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai respectively.
