The Delhi Police on Sunday said that it was activist Disha Ravi who shared the online 'toolkit' for protesting farmers with Swedish environmentalist Greta Thunberg. The 21-year-old activist was arrested from Bengaluru on Saturday evening and later sent to a five-day police custody by a Delhi court on Sunday.

“Disha Ravi, arrested by CyPAD Delhi Police, is an editor of the Toolkit Google Doc and key conspirator in document's formulation and dissemination. She started a WhatsApp Group and collaborated to make the Toolkit doc. She worked closely with them to draft the Doc,” the Delhi Police said in a tweet.

The police further said that Ravi, along with others, collaborated with pro-Khalistani Poetic Justice Foundation to spread disaffection against the Indian state.

“Later, she asked Greta to remove the main Doc after its incriminating details accidentally got into public domain. This is many times more than the 2 lines editing that she claims,” the police said.

The Delhi Police had earlier said that the 'toolkit' predated and indicated a copycat execution of a conspiracy behind the January 26 violence in Delhi.

Thousands of farmers, protesting against the new farm laws passed by the Centre, clashed with police and stormed the Red Fort, where a religious flag was hoisted on the Republic Day. Over 500 police personnel were injured and one protester died.

The Delhi Police on Sunday sought a seven-day custody of Ravi, saying it was probing an alleged larger conspiracy against the government of India.

According to police, Ravi is allegedly influenced by terrorists like Gurpatwant Singh Pannu and Khalistani groups like Poetic Justice. They also accused her of trying to recreate a Khalistani group and revive the movement in India.

Ravi, a student at Mount Carmel College, broke down in the court room as she said that she had edited only two lines of the document and that she only wanted to support the farmers' protest.

The Delhi Police had filed an FIR against unknown persons for "criminal conspiracy" and an attempt to "promote enmity between groups" after Thunberg shared the “toolkit” on Twitter.

It had also asked Google and some social media giants to provide information about email id, URLs and certain social media accounts related to the creators of the "toolkit".
