"Dhurandhar 2" seems to be moving at bullet speed in theatres across India and abroad. After crossing the 400-crore mark in India in three days, the Ranveer Singh biggie has crossed the 500-crore mark after 4 days.
At the moment of writing this report, Sacnilk data pins the total India gross at Rs 545.66 crore. Adding the overseas gross, the overall worldwide gross is expected to have crossed the Rs 700 crore on Day 5, as the number was around Rs 692 crore on the fourth day. Some estimates say the number has already touched 750.
That's basically the lifetime gross of Aamir Khan's "PK", which was released 12 years ago. However, it failed to beat the five-day worldwide record of "Pushpa 2" (Rs 922 crore). "Dhurandhar 2" is also expected to cross the opening week record of "Baahubali 2" (Rs 800 crore).
"Dhurandhar 2" is already the fastest 300-crore and 400-crore grosser. It has already crossed the lifetime gross of "Baahubali: The Beginning" (appr. Rs 650 crore) and the 7-day worldwide gross of "RRR" (Rs 709 crore).
The original "Dhurandhar" took two weeks to gross the same amount worldwide. "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" managed to pull off the same in just four days, undoubtedly an astonishing feat.
If "Dhurandhar 2" shows consistent performance the same way the first "Dhurandhar" did, it can easily reach the 1000-crore mark, unlike the first film, which took a month to reach the same number. Let's remember that in this day and age, when the box office run of most Bollywood movies dips after the first week, "Dhurandhar" picked up in the second week and did better business overall. In comparison, the sequel is moving at four times the pace.
"Dhurandhar" was the fastest Bollywood film of 2025 to reach the Rs 700 crore club. Its lifetime run concluded with over Rs 1,300 crore — and it's still playing in theatres.
In the U.S box office, "Dhurandhar 2" is at the third position in the Top 10 list, with Ryan Gosling's "Project Hail Mary" at the number one spot.
"Dhurandhar 2" is expected to overtake, in the coming week, the lifetime gross of blockbusters such as "Chhaava" (Rs 808 crore), "Kantara - Chapter 1" (Rs 852.36 crore), "Stree 2" (Rs 857 crore), "Secret Superstar" (Rs 913 crore), "Animal" (Rs 915 crore), "Bhajrangi Bhaijaan" (Rs 922 crore).
