D2R films, under the Raj & DK duo, is back with a bang as it announced the date of the third season of the popular spy-action-thriller ‘The Family Man’, with a promise of bigger challenges and more exciting action.
Season 3 is set to premiere on November 21 on Prime Video. The official trailer of the highly-anticipated season will be released on October 31.

Srikant Tiwari, the family-oriented undercover spy played by Manoj Bajpayee, is set to face more severe challenges. Raj & DK had revealed that Srikant will face a threat unlike any before – it will not only endanger him and his career, but also his family. “This season, the hunter becomes the hunted,” the duo said. However, in the date announcement video released by Prime Video, Srikant, with his signature quirky yet bold demeanour, confidently proclaims his return to action.
The upcoming season will see the return of actors playing key characters, including Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Vedant Sinha, Ashlesha Thakur, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Gul Panag, while introducing fresh faces such as Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur. The team behind the camera comprises Raj Nidimoru, Krishna DK, Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth.
Unconfirmed speculations of a possible crossover with Shahid Kapoor as Sunny from the series ‘Farzi’, also created by Raj & DK, are doing the rounds. The second season of the show is reportedly in the works, with Shahid Kapoor set to reprise his role from the first season for a story that's said to be relatively bigger.
According to a recent report in Bollywood Hungama, the actor will shoot for the new season in January 2026, after he completes filming Cocktail 2, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon. The Maddock Films production is currently filming in Italy, and expected to conclude in December.
"Farzi is in the writing stage, and Amazon Prime, along with Raj and DK are excited to start the shoot for the second season from January 2026. Shahid has allotted 6 months to the shoot and is getting a fat pay cheque. Shahid is drawing Rs. 40 crores for Farzi 2. This is the biggest pay cheque for him in his acting career, and this stems from the appreciation received by the first part," said the report.
