Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osborne's cause of death was revealed on Tuesday, weeks after the 76-year-old died on July 22.
The heavy metal rock legend, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction six years ago, died from cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction and coronary artery disease, according to his death certificate, obtained by The New York Times.

Aimee Osbourne, Ozzy's daughter, submitted the death certificate at a registry in London. It mentioned his occupation as 'Songwriter, Performer and Rock Legend'.
The singer, known as "The Prince of Darkness" and the "Godfather of Heavy Metal", had revealed in February that he could no longer walk. He had earlier suffered a crippling fall that deteriorated an old injury from a quad bike accident.

Thousands of fans attended Ozzy's funeral procession as he was driven through Birmingham streets before his private funeral. The family was seen waving at the fans who chanted "Ozzy, Ozzy". It should be noted that the singer had said he did not want his funeral to be a "mope-fest". Hence, fans took to the streets in celebration, but in reality the procession was a mix of both rejoicing and sorrow.

Ozzy was laid to rest near the lake of his Buckinghamshire mansion on July 31. The private funeral ceremony was attended by his widow Sharon, 72, and their children Jessica, Louis, Aimee, Kelly and Jack. They were joined by his lead guitarist Zakk Wylde, Marilyn Manson and others.
Just three weeks before his death, Ozzy reunited with his original Black Sabbath bandmates at his farewell concert in Birmingham for the first time since 2005.
