Paresh Rawal made headlines last month when the actor revealed that he dropped out of the production of Hera Pheri 3. The announcement came as a shock to fans as many were expecting to see the iconic trio—Akshay Kumar’s Raju, Suniel Shetty’s Shyam and Rawal’s Babu Bhaiya—back on the big screen together.
His abrupt exit also triggered a series of events which included a lawsuit from Kumar, who backs the third instalment under his production banner Cape of Good Films, suing the actor for Rs 25 crore in damages. A back-and-forth legal banter ensued between both parties, with Paresh’s team stating that the film has not suffered financially as alleged. The result of the lawsuit remains to be seen.

But did Rawal just tease at his possible re-entry into the franchise? The actor’s latest fan reaction seems to imply as much. On Monday morning, a fan posted on X (formerly Twitter), “Sir please think, Once again to join HERA FERI movie. You are the hero of this movie [sic]”.

Rawal replied within the hour, “NO … There are Three Heroes in Hera Pheri [sic]”.
The response quickly gained traction, fuelling speculations about the actor’s comeback. Many assume that the response could be a cryptic hint that all formalities have settled. One user replied to the tweet saying, “Real fans know, Hera Pheri wasn’t about one hero. It was about three misfits, one unforgettable chemistry, and one golden era of comedy. We don’t want a solo act. We want the OG trio, Raju, Shyam, aur hamare Babu Bhaiya!”
“Yes..anyone absence from this movie is affect the entire production.. please join the movie again... We all love you.. please clear all the misunderstanding [sic],” another wrote.
