Lawsuits continue to mount for Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy, who was convicted of sex trafficking and racketeering in September 2024. American attorney Tony Buzbee, who has been representing victims since the genesis of accusations against Combs in 2023, has now laid out a new lawsuit, this time on behalf of a male victim who claims that the music mogul "drugged and forcefully raped" him in 2022.

According to a New York County Supreme Court filing obtained by USA TODAY, the male victim, whose identity protected is under the pseudonym John Doe, is described as “a young musician” in the suit. He claims that an associate of Combs’ invited him to the rapper’s house for an "exclusive A-list birthday party" while he was walking outside a popular nightclub.

Upon arrival, Doe claims that the one drink he had was spiked by the 55-year-old singer, who made false promises under the pretence of securing a major record deal. The lawsuit further states that, while under the influence, he was coerced to perform oral sex and later allegedly raped. "Because of Combs’ power and notoriety, and because he was shocked and embarrassed, Doe did not report what had happened," the lawsuit reads.

The unidentified man seeks damages for “all physical injuries, emotional distress, psychological harm, anxiety, humiliation, physical and emotional pain and suffering, family and social disruption, and other harm, in an amount to be determined at trial."

In a statement obtained by the publication from Combs’ legal team, they remain steadfast that the Bad Boy Records founder has never assaulted anyone in any form and maintains his innocence, "As we’ve said before, Mr Combs cannot respond to every new publicity stunt, even in response to claims that are facially ridiculous or demonstrably false. Mr Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.”

Combs, who pleaded not guilty to all charges, is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.
