After much speculation as to what his 49th acting project would be, Tamil actor Silambarasan announced on his birthday that he is going to collaborate with director Ramkumar Balakrishnan for a yet-untitled film.
Ramkumar is known for his critically acclaimed directorial debut Parking, starring Harish Kalyan, M. S. Bhaskar and Indhuja Ravichandran.
In the intriguing first-look poster featuring Silambarasan, the actor is seen with his back to us, holding an Engineering subject textbook which conceals a blood-drenched knife, hinting at the possibility of him playing someone with dual identities. Below the poster, we can see a 'most wanted student' tag, which further adds to the mystery.
Ramkumar Balakrishnan shared a picture of him beside the actor on his 'X' handle with the caption: "From fanboy to directing you, heart is filled with gratitude & excitement."
The other details of this project are yet to be revealed. Aakash Baskaran of Dawn Pictures is bankrolling the feature.
