Netflix has finally released the trailer of Stranger Things season 4, giving fans a glimpse into the horrors that await Eleven and her friends. In the new season, we see the children trying to move on with their school life, but that is not so easy. The past is back to haunt them, and the they are in 'the eye of the storm'.

Season 4 shifts between California where the Byers family has moved, and Russia, where Jim Hopper is shown to be. The third season had left fans heartbroken with the scene of Hopper sacrificing his life to save the kids and the city of Hawkins. Later, in the teaser for Season 4, the makers hinted that Hopper was not dead, but taken captive by the Russians. In the trailer, a man is seen telling Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown) that without her, they can't win the war.

As the story returns to the Upside Down, the trailer reveals that the battle has just gotten much bigger and the enemy stronger.

Volume 1 of Stranger Things season 4 premieres on May 27 and volume 2 drops on Netflix on July 1.
