Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas looked stunning together on the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. Once again, Priyanka set fashion goals on the red carpet with a shimmering thigh-high slit gown. She completed the look with a belt from Dolce and Gabbana.
Sharing a photograph on Instagram, she said that Nick ‘crushed’ it at the awards, despite a cracked rib. Nick was the official host of the event. She wrote: “Husband appreciation post. Not even a cracked rib can stop this force of nature. So proud of you baby. With everything you do! Your work ethic, your pursuit of excellence! You inspire me everyday! Crushed it today! I love you so much!”
Nick who has been serving as a coach on "The Voice" for two non-consecutive seasons, had injured himself while on set of the NBC singing competition series. He cracked a rib in a biking accident and was hospitalised briefly.
Nick performed with the other Jonas brothers at the event hosted at Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. BTS also gave their first-ever live performance of their latest single ‘Butter’.
Billboard selects annual finalists and winners based on fan interaction with music, including streaming, sales, radio airplay, and social engagement. This year’s awards included two fan-voted categories and are based on charts from March 21, 2020 to April 3, 2021. Drake was honoured with Billboard’s Artist of the Decade Award. The Weeknd, nominated for a whopping 16 Billboard Music Awards, has won eight so far.
