A day after the death of actor-YouTuber Rahul Vohra due to COVID-19, his wife Jyoti Tiwari alleged that he died due to medical negligence, and sought justice for "every Rahul."
Taking to Instagram, she said nobody knows how Rahul died, and said he got poor treatment at the Rajeev Gandhi super specialty hospital in Delhi. "I hope my husband will get justice. Another Rahul should not die in this manner," she wrote, while sharing a video of the actor-YouTuber in which he is heard saying that no oxygen was coming from the oxygen mask that was given to him at the hospital.
"This is very valuable now. Without this, patients suffer. However, no oxygen is coming through this one," he says in the video, showing the oxygen mask.
He was later shifted to Ayushman Hospital, Dwarka.
On Saturday, Vohra, in a Facebook post, had tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and asked for better treatment.
“If I would have got better treatment maybe I could be saved. (Mujhe bhi accha treatment mil jaata to mai bhi bach jaata tumhara),” Vohra had written.
