Malayalam film Drishyam 2 is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, and receiving positive reviews. Now, according to reports, the film will be remade in Hindi with Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead. Drishyam 2 in Hindi, which will be along the lines of the Malayalam one with a few modifications, will be produced by Kumar Mangat, the Times of India reported.
The first part in Hindi, directed by late Nishikant Kamat, hit theatres in 2015 and was received well.
Jeethu Joseph who directed both the Malayalam films is also set to the helm the sequel in Telugu with Venkitesh in the lead. Jeethu has also spoken on the possibility of making the second part of Papanasam, the Tamil remake of Drishyam. Papanasam starred Kamal Haasan in the role of Mohanlal and it was directed by Jeethu. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
