Sacha Baron Cohen is back with a sequel of his character Borat in his mockumentary Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. Trolling those close to President Donald Trump is a central theme of the new Borat film, and the reputation of Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s current personal attorney, has faced a major blow.

In the film, the former New York mayor is seen reaching into his trousers and apparently touching his genitals while reclining on a bed in the presence of the actor playing Borat’s daughter, who is posing as a TV journalist.

Rudy Giuliani went to the hotel room thinking he was being interviewed about the Trump administration’s COVID-19 response. The young woman is flirtatious with him and invites him to the bedroom, which is rigged with hidden cameras.

Giuliani then asks for her phone number and address. He lies back on the bed to tuck in his shirt after she helps remove his recording equipment, and he has his hands in his pants when Baron Cohen rushes in wearing an outlandish outfit.

Cohen, who was disguised as part of the crew, screams that the young woman is 15 years old.

With the movie clips out in the US, Giuliani has found himself in a soup.

After the news broke, Giuliani claimed that he was only trying to take off his microphone and tucking in his shirt.

“I had to take off the electronic equipment,” Giuliani told WABC. “And when the electronic equipment came off, some of it was in the back and my shirt came a little out, although my clothes were entirely on. I leaned back, and I tucked my shirt in, and at that point, at that point, they have this picture they take which looks doctored, but in any event, I’m tucking my shirt in. I assure you that’s all I was doing.”

“At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate,” Giuliani tweeted. “If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise, he is a stone-cold liar.”

The plot of the sequel revolves around Borat, who was last seen in a gulag in Kazakhstan for bringing dishonour to the nation with his documentary, being given a chance to redeem himself. For that he must present a gift to Donald Trump. And Borat decides to present his daughter Tutar (essayed by actress Maria Bakalova) to one of Trump’s allys.
