On Dulquer Salmaan’s birthday, actor shares sneak peek into ‘Kurup’

The film is based on the life of ‘India’s longest wanted fugitive’

Actor Dulquer Salmaan turned 34 on Tuesday, and wishes are pouring on from celebs and fans. On his birthday, the actor shared a sneak pekk into his upcoming Malayalam Kurup.

Sharing the clip, he said: “As we put the finishing touches on Kurup, here is a little sneak peek. I hope you guys like it. Thank you for all your love and wishes. #Kurup #Wayfarerfilms #MstarEntertainments”. The promo video features a description that the film is based on the life of ‘India’s longest wanted fugitive’.

The promo features Dulquer, who plays the title role, walk in style towards his vintage car. He says that now only he can decide who can see him-be it cops or politicians.

Bankrolled by Dulquer’s Wayfarer Films and M-Star Entertainment, the film is made on the budget of Rs 35 crore, reportedly Dulquer’s most expensive venture. Srinath Rajendran has helmed Kurup, inspired by the life of Kerala’s most wanted criminal Sukumara Kurup who has been on the list of absconding accused since 1984. Kurup is believed to have faked his own death to claim insurance money.

He had recently shared a second look poster of the film. The film also features Indrajith Sukumaran, Sobhita Dhulipala, Sunny Wayne, Shine Tom Chacko, Shivajith Padmanabhan, Vijayaraghavan among others.

On the work front, Dulquer was last seen in Tamil film Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal, which released earlier this year.
