Actress Urvashi Rautela is being trolled on Twitter after she was caught plagiarisng a tweet! On Tuesday, Rautela tweeted about the Oscar-winning movie Parasite. Only that, her tweet was a word-to-word copy of the review posted by New York-based author John Paul Brammer.
A Twitter user made a collage of both the tweets and brought it to the notice of Brammer himself, who had a smart comeback. "I'm rooting for her,” tweeted Brammer who writes for The Guardian, Slate among others.
"one thing I really love about Parasite is that rather than depict the fam as scammers pretending to be good at their jobs, they actually do their jobs flawlessly! what they lack isn't skill, but institutional stamps of approval & the bows and ribbons that rich people love (sic),” read Rautela’s tweet.
Brammer also sarcastically pointed out that Rautela had not even corrected his ‘bad grammar’. “Why didn’t she at least correct the grammar, um my bad grammar?? is part of the vibe??? wow (sic),” he added.
Rautela has a history of plagiarising tweets. Recently, after she had tweeted for the speedy recovery of actress Shabana Azmi, who had met with a road accident, users were quick to point out that it was a copy of PM Modi’s tweet.
Twitter users are sparing no chance to troll Rautela with some schooling her about plagiarism and telling her to hire a PR team. Rautela has featured in movies like Great Grand Masti, Hate Story 4 and Race 3.
She was also in the news last year with a video featuring her and producer Boney KApoor went viral. It had sparked a controversy as netizens accused the filmmaker of alleged misconduct. Speaking about it, she later said that it had snowballed out of proportion and that if made Kapoor feel awkward.
