Although Priyanka Chopra now lives in the United States, she still has a strong fan following in India. A case in point was a recent political rally in Delhi, where three-time MLA Surendra Kumar led a crowd of Congress supporters to chant “Priyanka Chopra Zindabad”.

Of course, he meant to chant Priyanka Gandhi Zindabad. In the video, a crowd of supporters can be seen being guided to chant slogans. In the start of the clip, Kumar shouts Sonia Gandhi and the crowd responds with “Zindabad!”.
He leads the crowd this way, chanting “Congress Party" to which the crowd cheers "Zindabad!” and “Rahul Gandhi" followed by Zindabad!”. Then, he shouts "Priyanka Chopra..." and before he could correct his mistake, the crowd yells back “Zindabad!”.
Kumar then sheepishly apologises and leads the cheer for Priyanka Gandhi.

The video swiftly went viral giving netizens a field day.
Some suggested that they chant “Nick Jonas Zindabad” next, referring to Chopra’s husband. Chopra married Jonas Brothers member Nick Jonas in 2018.
One user shared an image of Indira Gandhi morphed to look like Priyanka Chopra.
Surendra Kumar is a three-time MLA from Delhi’s Bawana constituency.
