The meeting between Shah Rukh Khan and Vetri Maaran fueled speculations that the director may be making a Kollywood remake of Asuran.
The director, however, played down such speculations and rumours. According to a Times of India report, Vetri Maaran, when asked about such rumours, said the actor watched Asuran and wanted to meet him after that and added that there is nothing more to the meeting.
It remains to be seen if Asuran will be remade in Bollywood with Khan in the lead.
