Filmstar Jackie Chan's daughter Etta Ng claimed that she was homeless because of her homophobic parents, and posted a video on YouTube claiming that they were in need of assistance. "We have been homeless for a month due to homophobic parents, and we have pretty much slept under a bridge and other things. I don't even understand what is going on because we have gone to the police, the food bank, the hospital and LGBTQ community shelters and nobody cares. That is why we are making this video, because we don't know what to do at this point. We just want people to know because at this point it seems ridiculous that no one can help. I don't understand," says Etta Ng in the video.

Etta Ng's life partner Andi Autumn claims: "I have asked all my friends for help, and all my family for help. But everyone just keeps sending us to the direction of shelters where they know we will be split up. No one on my Facebook is going to listen to me and no one is listening to my phone calls. "

According to the video caption on YouTube: "We had to read off of a paper due to PTSD and being extremely flustered about the whole situation. please understand. Please repost and share so that people who do care about us know what is happening. At this point we have no where to go because the friend of Andi's that is helping, can no longer house us. We understand people who are busy but this is a bit much. And now I can only turn to the internet for help as there is strength in numbers. We don't know the next time we will have internet access so we might be off the grid for a while. All I know is that our love is stronger than this but we are getting tired of it. No one we know, family, friend or government services will help."

Etta Ng is Jackie Chan's estranged daughter, as a result of a brief affair with former beauty queen Elaine Ng. Earlier, Jackie Chan's son Jaycee Chan, a 32-year-old actor and singer, was arrested in Beijing this year after testing positive for marijuana.

In a brief statement on its official microblog, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate said it had begun legal proceedings against Jackie Chan's son for “the crime of sheltering others to take drugs”.

Jackie Chan, 60, had served as a goodwill spokesman for the China National Anti-Drug Committee in 2009, state media reported, promoting anti-drug education.
