Actress Meghna Raj and Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja tied the knot at St Anthony's Church in Koramangala, Bangalore, in the presence of family and friends. The wedding materialised after a decade-long friendship and two years of courtship.
The engagement was held on October 22. Meghna appeared gorgeous in her white wedding gown, while Chiru, as Chiranjeevi Sarja is known in film circles, was stunning in a black suit. The wedding at the church was held as Meghna’s mother Pramila Joshai is a Catholic. A traditional Hindu wedding will be held in Bengaluru Palace Ground on May 2.
Meghna Raj, who is based in Bengaluru, made her acting debut in Telugu film Bendu Apparao R.M.P and her first film in Malayalam was the Vinayan flick Yakshiyum Njanum. She has appeared in lead roles in several Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu films. Meghna shot to prominence in Malayalam film industry following the blockbuster film Beautiful starring Anoop Menon and Jayasoorya. Her last film in Malayalam was Narain-starrer Hallelooya released in 2015.
