Billionaire industrialist and chairman of Adani Group Gautam Adani, on Friday, hailed Indian chess prodigy R. Praggnanandhaa, calling him an "inspiration to countless young Indians."
Adani met Praggnanandhaa on Friday. In a tweet, the Adani Group said "Adani met with chess prodigy Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa, reinforcing our commitment to supporting him on his journey in the world of chess."
It further said the ports-to-power conglomerate is committed to supporting sportspersons as "they go full throttle in their quest to bring glory to India."
Taking to Twitter (now known as X), the billionaire businessman said it is a privilege to support Praggnanandhaa "as he continues to win laurels in the world of chess and make India proud."
Hailing the achievements of the youngster, the industrialist said, "His success is an inspiration to countless young Indians to believe that nothing is more gratifying than standing on the podium to celebrate our nation's greatness."
"Praggnanandhaa represents what India can and will be all about. I wish him all the very best," he wrote.
