Gurugram, May 16 (PTI) The Gurugram University will introduce 14 new courses from the 2026-27 academic session in line with the National Education Policy, officials said on Saturday.
The initiative aims to provide students with modern, multidisciplinary and job-oriented education to give their careers a new direction, they said.
Vice Chancellor Sanjay Kaushik said the university is consistently prioritising innovation and quality in education, and as part of that effort, the new courses will be offered from the upcoming session.
The courses to be introduced include MBA (Executive), Bachelor of Management Studies (Industry Integrated - Travel and Tourism), MSc Life Sciences (Integrated), BSc (Hons) Clinical Psychology (RCI-Approved), Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (RCI-Approved), Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Management and Leadership (PGDEML), Post Graduate Diploma in Information and Communication Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Education (PGDICTAI), Kaushik said.
The university will also offer Bachelor of Commerce (Global), MA in Theatre Studies, MSc in Forensic Science, MSc (Geography), MA (Sociology), MA (History) and MSc (Disaster Management), he added.
The VC said the programmes have been designed to provide students with practical knowledge, research opportunities and skills aligned with global competition.
He also said the admission process for undergraduate courses has already commenced, and interested students can apply online through the university's official website till May 30.
