Jammu, May 14 (PTI) Authorities on Thursday demolished an illegal structure allegedly raised by a drug peddler on state land in Samba district as part of an intensified crackdown on narcotics networks and encroachments in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
Officials said that Abdul Habib alias Bheem, a resident of Ladana in Ramnagar tehsil of Udhampur district, was presently residing in an illegally built structure in Badheri Nanke Chak in Samba district.
The structure was demolished in a joint operation by administration and police, they said.
