Jammu, Apr 22 (PTI) Western Army Commander Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh visited the Bani–Macchedi sector in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district and reviewed the operational preparedness of troops.
The army commander lauded the troops for their high readiness and exceptional professionalism.
"Lt Gen Pushpendra Singh, Army Commander, Western Command, reviewed operational preparedness in the Bani–Macchedi sector (Kathua)," the Western Command said on X.

In Jammu, the army commander interacted with senior police, BSF, Central Armed Police Forces and civil officers, reaffirming seamless synergy and unwavering commitment to border security.
Lt Gen Singh also visited Jammu and complimented the teams at the polyclinic and Asha School at Jammu Cantonment for the enhanced infrastructure and upgraded facilities, reflecting the dedication, professionalism and patient-centric approach of the staff.
He underscored the Indian Army's continued commitment towards delivering quality healthcare to veterans and fostering inclusive support for special children.
