Chandigarh, Apr 22 (PTI) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday paid tributes to those killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, and said a New India will not bow down before any form of terror and never allow the designs of terrorists to succeed.
Paying tribute to all those who lost their lives in the terror attack that took place in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025, Saini, in a post on X in Hindi, said, "Every Indian will never forget this tragic incident. My deepest condolences go out to the bereaved families grappling with this irreparable loss."
"We, as fellow citizens, stand united in both our grief and our resolve. This 'New India' will not bow down before any form of terror and will never allow the designs of terrorists to succeed," Saini said.
Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, a Navy officer, who hailed from Karnal, was among the 26 people killed in the incident.
After the Pahalgam terror attack, India carried out a retaliatory military offensive against Pakistan named Operation Sindoor, in which Indian armed forces destroyed military and terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
