EGS Health launches online cancer care platform MC3

Mumbai, May 20 (PTI) Health-tech company EGS Health on Wednesday launched Medicas Comprehensive Cancer Care (MC3), a holistic cancer care coordination platform designed to help patients access expert-led second opinions, multidisciplinary oncology guidance and coordinated cancer care support across India.
MC3 is designed to quickly add clarity around treatment options supported by data-driven clinical solutions, the Visakhapatnam-based company said in a statement.
Backed by a panel of leading national and international oncologists, MC3 has been launched nationwide to help bridge the growing gap in access to specialised cancer care, particularly for patients in tier II and III cities where multidisciplinary oncology expertise and subspecialised guidance may not always be readily available, the company said.
The platform also emphasises patient privacy, confidentiality and secure handling of medical information while adhering to globally recognised healthcare data protection standards, including HIPAA and GDPR compliance protocols, according to EGS Group of Companies Chairman and MD Shiva Shankar.
