New Delhi, Apr 30 (PTI) FMCG major Hindustan Unilever's sales from hyperlocal delivery platforms have doubled in FY26, and e-commerce sales reported over 25 per cent growth, reflecting a strong shift towards digital and omni-channel growth.
The company has established a dedicated Q-commerce team, strengthening its omni-channel execution as part of its strategy to tap into fast-growing digital channels, said its MD and CEO, Priya Nair, on Thursday.
"We have a dedicated team now for quick commerce and e-commerce, and we are also investing in general trade capabilities," Nair said, adding that the company has also created focused teams for open-format stores and chemist channels, which are witnessing strong growth even within traditional trade.
Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) said its e-commerce business registered over 25 per cent turnover growth in FY26, supported by digital-first assortments, data-led demand generation, and improved product availability across platforms.
The company noted that its omni-channel strategy, combining digital and offline channels, is beginning to deliver results, helping it accelerate growth across segments.
"Building capabilities across channels and strengthening execution is enabling us to step up growth, and this strategy is now beginning to show outcomes," Nair added.
HUL continues to focus on expanding its presence across emerging channels, while also strengthening its core general trade network to drive sustained growth.
Though HUL has not shared the revenue details from sales, some reports suggest that it contributes around 3 per cent of its topline in the third quarter.
In FY26, the total revenue of HUL was Rs 65,219 crore.
