Autograph Collection Hotel by Marriott debuts in India with NoorMahal Karnal

Karnal, Apr 18 (PTI) Global hospitality player Marriott International on Saturday announced the launch of its "Autograph Collection Hotel" brand in India with the NoorMahal hotel in Karnal, Haryana.
    Owned by Colonel Manbeer Choudhary, the 176-key palace-style hotel, located on the NH44 Highway, Karnal, houses one of the region's most extensive collections of Indian art and artefacts.
    "Autograph Collection Hotels, part of Marriott International's global portfolio of extraordinary hotel brands, announces its debut in India with the opening of NoorMahal, Delhi-NCR Karnal, Autograph Collection Hotels, a 176-room collectors' palace, along the historic Grand Trunk Road - making it Marriott Bonvoy's 19th brand in the country," a statement said.
    Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International, said, "As Indian travellers increasingly seek stays that are distinctive, design-led, and rooted in cultural authenticity, Autograph Collection arrives at a moment of strong relevance for the market.     "This partnership ensures that while we maintain our independent heritage and our mission, we now play with world-class standards and global reach," Choudhary said.
    The "Autograph Collection Hotels" brand has over 360 properties globally across more than 55 countries. NoorMahal is the 235th such hotel in South Asia.
