Mumbai, Mar 20 (PTI) State-owned Bank of Baroda on Friday announced a credit line on the popular Unified Payments Interface platform for members of women self-help groups.
Customers holding Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana accounts will be able to access the overdraft facility of Rs 5,000 without visiting a branch and directly pay merchants using the credit facility, as per an official statement.
The lender said it is the first bank to operationalise the facility, which has been launched in association with a slew of entities, including NPCI and IBA.
TCS extends partnership with Swissport for five years
The Country's largest IT services company TCS on Friday extended its partnership with aviation services-focused Swissport for five more years.
TCS, which has been working with Swissport for a decade now, will continue with the modernisation of Swissport's technology landscape and scale AI-enabled services, data platforms, and hybrid cloud operations, according to a statement.
RBI approves amalgamation of Lalbaug Co-op with Akhand Anand Co-operative Bank
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday approved the voluntary amalgamation of Lalbaug Co-operative Bank with Akhand Anand Co-operative Bank.
Starting March 23, all branches of Lalbaug Co-operative Bank will operate as branches of Akhand Anand Co-operative Bank, as per an official statement.
