Mumbai: Actress Kriti Verma, born on 4 September 2001 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and raised in Delhi, is currently based in Mumbai and continues to expand her work across television and regional cinema, most recently with the release of the Kannada film O Sundara Rakshasi on 13 February 2026. In O Sundara Rakshasi, produced by Sky Is The Limit Studios, Verma plays the lead role, marking another collaboration with the same team after the earlier project O Andala Rakshasi. The film’s release adds to her portfolio of projects across multiple languages and formats.
Verma first gained nationwide attention as a contestant on Bigg Boss 12 in 2018, hosted by Salman Khan. She was also a semi-finalist on MTV Roadies Xtreme and later appeared on MTV BCL 4, building early visibility in the reality television space before transitioning into scripted projects.
Her work in digital entertainment includes a nomination at the Filmfare OTT Awards for Best Female Lead Actress for the web series Simran. On television, she has been seen in Zee TV’s Tere Bina Jeeya Jaaye Na, and she has featured in the short film Kuch Din Friends Ki Tarah Rehte Hain.
Beyond films and television, Verma has appeared as the lead in the song “Rathuni Rathuni” from the film Karikaada. She has also been associated with various brand campaigns including Fasih Perfumes, Fashion Asia, Umang and Jazzba.
In addition to acting, Verma has hosted large-format industry events such as the Hindustan Times Most Stylish Awards 2023 and the International Iconic Awards 2024. With more than five years in the entertainment industry, she has worked across live performances, music videos and regional cinema projects.
Speaking about her recent projects, Verma said, “Working across different formats and languages has helped me grow as a performer. Each project brings a new experience and perspective.”
Now based in Mumbai, her birthplace and current workplace, Verma continues to engage with opportunities across television, digital platforms and regional cinema. She was also present at the Filmfare Awards 2026 in Mumbai earlier this week, an annual gathering of film industry professionals.
