This film portrays the story of the sweet youthful romance between Seiji, a young man who hopes to be a master luthier, and Shizuku, an aspiring writer. The film portrayed a couple with disparate individual goals but connect through reading and ultimately fall in love.

Ponyo (2008)

The Wind Rises (2013)

A stunning, bittersweet love story that tells the true narrative of Jiro Horikoshi, the chief engineer and creator of Japanese fighter planes, including the Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter, as he reflects on his life's decisions and achieves his goals. The film truly melts your heart and will make you cry.

Howl's Moving Castle (2004)

The movie tells a tale of a girl who fights her curse and finds the meaning of love and companionship. This, according to Miyazaki, is his favourite creation. He had said: "I wanted to convey the message that life is worth living, and I don't think that's changed."
