The Golden Globe Awards just wrapped and the glamorous night saw some big wins including for Oppenheimer and Bear, the television series. Here's who won some of the main awards.

Lily Gladstone

Gladstone won the award for best female actor in a drama. She won the award for her work in Killers of the Flower Moon, directed by Martin Scorsese. She is the first woman belonging to an Indigenous tribe to win in this category.

Kieran Culkin

Kieran Culkin won the Best Male Actor in a drama series award for his role in Succession. Culkin plays Roman Roy in the series.

Da’Vine Joy Randolph

Randolph won the award for best supporting actress for her role as a grieving woman in the 1970s in The Holdovers.

The Bear

This series won the globe for the best comedy series. Its main star Jeremy Allen White won the award for Best Actor in a comedy series.

Christopher Nolan

Nolan won the Best Director award for Oppenheimer at the 2024 Golden Globes for his work on the movie that chronicled how the scientist Robert Oppenheimer created the atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Robert Downey Jr

Downey Jr. bagged the prize for best-supporting actor for his role in Oppenheimer, the period drama. Mostly known for his role as Iron Man in the Marvel movies, Downey Jr. has also played Dr. Dolittle in the movie of the same title.

Sarah Snook

Snook won the award for Best Actress in a drama series for her role in Succession. She plays Shiv Roy in the series, for which she has won two Golden Globes previously.
