Christian Oliver plays the role of the missing ex-SS officer Emil Brandt in the film The Good German (2006) by Steven Soderbergh. He is known for his role in the movie as the plot revolves around finding ‘Emil Brandt’ whose testimony and notes can disrupt the cover up against a war criminal.
Christian is popularly known for his role—the shady, snakeskin-clad racing competitor Snake Oiler—in the movie Speed Racer (2008), written and directed by the Wachowskis.
In 2015, once again Oliver worked with the Wachowskis. He starred in Netflix’s sci-fi hit series Sense8 by the Wachowskis, as villainous Steiner.
In Brian Singer’s World War II thriller Valkyrie (2009), he played the role of Sergeant-Major Arthur Adam alongside Tom Cruise, Bill Nighy and Tom Wilkinson.
Oliver was famous for his role as commissioner Jan Richter in the series Alarm für Cobra 11 – Die Autobahnpolizei. He played in the series from season 14 to 16 (28 episodes).
