2023 has turned out to be an exceptional year for music icon Taylor Swift. It became all the more fabulous with the Time magazine naming her the person of the year for 2023.
The selection is on the basis of how the individual, group, or concept influenced the world over the year.
Swift is the first woman to appear twice on its annual issue. Her cover debut in 2017 was as part of “Silence Breakers,” a group of women who helped spark a cultural reckoning around sexual harassment and assault.
Her concert movie 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' garnered $96 million dollars in the first four days—an epic opening for a concert movie.
Swift officially became a billionaire in October, thanks to the tour, Bloomberg reported.
She also emerged as Spotify's Top Artist of the Year 2023 with 26 billion streams and the most-streamed female artist in Apple Music history.
