Suryakumar Yadav's Indian side completed yet another bilateral series win in the shortest format after the no-result in the fifth T20I against Australia in Brisbane on Saturday (November 8). It meant a 2-1 series win for the visitors in a series where the first and last match got abandoned due to rain.
Since their victorious 2024 T20 World Cup campaign, India have managed to keep up the momentum in T20 cricket with a juggernaut run in the shortest format. As such, they are arguably the best side in the world right now and are heading into the 2026 T20 World Cup with their confidence sky high. It must be noted that India are the co-hosts of the mega tournament along with Sri Lanka.
