Super League Kerala Season 2 has kicked off with Calicut FC taking on Forca Kochi FC at the EMS Stadium in Kozhikode today.
There will be 33 matches played among six teams, with the final to be conducted on December 14. The six teams are, Calicut FC, Forca Kochi FC, Kannur Warriors FC, Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC, Malappuram FC and Thrissur Magic FC.
The home ground for the above six teams are EMS Stadium, Maharaja’s College ground, Jawahar Municipal Corporation Stadium, Kannur, Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium, Payyanad Stadium and Corporation Stadium, Thrissur, respectively.
According to the officials, each team will get to play each other twice in the league phase (home and away). Among them, the top four teams after the league phase will qualify for the semifinals, and eventually, the winners will move to the final.

On October 3, Malappuram FC will face Thrissur Magic FC at Manjeri's Payyanad Stadium at 7.30 pm.
