Hong Kong won the toss and opted to bowl against India in the Asia Cup on Tuesday.

India is starting their Asia Cup campaign against minnows Hong Kong before taking on Pakistan the following day.

Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain in the absence of Virat Kohli, said that the team's middle-order is still fluid and their objective will be to identify players to settle the middle-order during the Asia Cup.

The problem for India during the past one year is the lack of a settled middle-order, which was evident during the recent ODI series defeat in England.

Ambati Rayudu is back in the Indian team having cleared the YoYo test, and he also performed well in the Quadrangular series for India A. Kedar Jadhav is back having recovered from a hamstring surgery.

Khaleel Ahmed is making his ODI debut for India, and Sharma was all praise for the left arm seamer.

“He is a great addition and has tools to succeed at the highest level,” Sharma said.

The team is focused on the match, and Sharma added that it will be treating every opposition equally.
