Amidst the conflict having engulfed most of the region, Etihad Airways has resumed a limited commercial flight schedule, operating between Abu Dhabi and a number of key destinations. Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode and Kolkata are among the Indian cities to which flights will be taking off from Abu Dhabi on March 16, Monday, the airliner confirmed.

"The decision has been taken in coordination with relevant authorities following extensive safety and security assessments. Etihad continues to monitor the situation closely and will only operate flights once all safety criteria are met. The most up-to-date information is available at etihad.com," Etihad said in an official statement.
Tickets are available on its website, the airline confirmed, adding that passengers with existing bookings will be accommodated on available flights.

However, every flight is subject to operational approvals, and its status may change depending on airspace conditions. A free rebooking facility is available for tickets issued on or before February 28, 2026, for travel up to March 21, 2026, with new travel dates allowed until May 15, 2026.
