Northern Railway: 3093 Apprentice vacancies
Indian Railways is offering 3093 apprentice vacancies in various units, divisions, and workshops of the Northern Railway based in New Delhi.
The available trades include Electrician, Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Welder (Gas and Electric), Machinist, Turner, Wireman, Carpenter, Painter (General), Material Handling Equipment Mechanic cum Operator, Mason (Building and Constructor), Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Mechanic (Machine Tool) maintenance, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Forger and Heat Treater, Welder (C&G, Welder Structural, MMV, Trimmer, Black/Smith, Riveter, etc.).
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10th grade or its equivalent with 50% marks and possess an ITI pass certificate in the relevant trade.
Age Limit: The age of the candidates should be between 15 and 24 years. There is a relaxation of 5 years for Scheduled Castes, 3 years for Other Backward Classes, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). The eligibility will be calculated based on December 4, 2023, and the age will be calculated based on January 11, 2024.
The selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

The stipend for the apprentices will be provided as per the rules.
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100 online. However, there is no fee for Scheduled Castes, Persons with Disabilities, and Women.

RITES: 257 Apprentices
RITES Limited, under the Ministry of Railways, is offering 257 apprentice vacancies in Gurgaon. The training period for these apprenticeships is one year.
Graduate Apprentice (Civil/Electrical/Signal and Telecom/Mechanical/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering/Finance/HR): Candidates should have a BE/BTech/BA/BBA/BCom degree. The stipend for this position is Rs. 14,000.
Diploma Apprentice (Civil/Electrical/Signal and Telecom/Mechanical/Chemical/Metallurgical): Candidates should have a 3-year Diploma in Engineering. The stipend for this position is Rs. 12,000.
Trade Apprentice (Civil/Electrician/Mechanic/Welder/Fitter/Turner/Plumber/CAD Operator/Draftsman):
Candidates should have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade. The stipend for this position is Rs. 10,000.
